A Last Dollop Of Cynicism

Question: How do you feel?

Answer: Not as good as yesterday, but probably better than tomorrow.

Ironically I enjoy this joke, notwithstanding my pain and generally miserable circumstances, I usually feel quite cheerful. Still, I wonder how to drain these lingering dollops of cynicism.
