Attaining Full Height

It seemed that I only grew to the height of 5' 6", and I always wondered why I did not attain what I thought should be my full height of 5' 6 ½", like my mother. Then in my late sixties my domineering mother passed away and, unbeknownst to me, I spontaneously stood up straight to my full height of 5' 6 ½". At first I objected when medical staff told me that I had "grown" half an inch, then I relished it. Finally!
Strange how one is controlled by sad circumstances of birth.
