Blue Eggs Joke

Annmarie Throckmorton, M.A.

American humor has gone dark and dank with bad sex jokes, sharp-edged race play, and dumb religion innuendos; though sometimes hamstrung by self-censorship.  A well-known axiom is to avoid public discussion of sex, money, politics, and religion.  Try telling that to these comedic shock-jokes cruising for an easy laugh.

So, a while ago I switched to British humor.  I enjoy standup comedians like the late, great heavy-weight (in all senses) John Pinette and the panel comedy shows Would I Lie To You, and Eight Out Of Ten Cats, all of which are available for free on YouTube.  And while the British humor is often too smutty for my sensibilities, their enthusiasm for word play is punny funny to me!

What's the best day to cook eggs?  Friday.
