Contagion Bogey-monsters

For over a year our overlords have had the entire world confined in the pens of our own homes, able to venture out only when we are willing to endure the indignity and sensations of suffocation of the face masks that we are required by law to wear over our mouths and noses. We speak though these smelly masks in the muffled tones of the impaired because we are impaired. We cannot see easily around the masks and are rendered uncertain and clumsy. We have become fearful and we have been made into objects of fear. The elites have made contagion bogey-monsters of us, 7.7 billion people, each of us publicly presenting as a potential carrier of whatever pseudo-plague has caught their imagination. Never before in the history of humanity has each and every person been so confined and degraded. This is a crime against all of humanity.
