I doomscroll throughout most nights, driven by an insatiable need to know the ghastly world events that might impact me, and the hard, cruel facts that might show me how to stay safe, and often I find something, someone that I should pray for, some horror that I must refuse to look away from but stay steadfastly looking on with burning, weeping eyes in honor of suffering in the world.
