Haircuts

I have almost never spent money on hairdresser's weird, ugly, expensive, uncomfortable, and unpleasant haircuts. I cut my own hair. And now that I am old I sometimes hear an odd echo from acquaintances long ago:

"What kind of hairstyle is that?"

"She thinks it's good enough as it grows out of her head."

Well, maybe I did.
