What would ten-year old me have thought of my life, now that the end beckons?
Child-me would be terribly frightened that I have had so many narrow escapes from disaster even death more times than I can count, would be amazed at the skills and equanimity that I have developed, embarrassed by my persisting personal flaws, delighted that I have had so many magnificent life experiences, and gratified that my innate kindness has persisted over the years.
