Living Somewhere Simpler

As I watch the dire world news each day, I realize that I do not want to live on this planet. This is a shocking feeling. Recently I have also heard other people say this. In seventy-plus years of life I have neither felt nor heard this before. Is this a sea change, "a substantial change in perspective, especially one which affects a group or society at large, on a particular issue"? (random dictionary definition)
