My Bathroom Window

I was brushing my teeth one morning when I heard squabbling from my neighbors who live up the hill from me. Looking out of my bathroom window, between the trees to the house on the right, I saw a young man engaged in dislodging an old man from a chair in the driveway from which the latter had shouted, "I'm gonna' sit and watch the show", meaning in my bathroom window!

I am surprised the old guy's eyes are good enough to see me through my window from such a distance, obscured by trees. He really had to make an effort. Now I realized that I probably cast a shadow onto the window shade whenever I shower, etcetera. What can I possibly do about that? What an awful old man.

My life has been full of stuff like this, and I truly feel that I am too old to have to continue to deal with stuff like this. I am going to move for this reason and many others.

He said, "I'm gonna' sit and watch the show"—in my bathroom window!

(The old man was sitting in the driveway of the house on the right, peeking through the trees at me. Ugh.)
