My Spice Racks

When I sold my house a couple of years ago I knew that I would miss my spice rack. It was huge and built into my pantry door. I kept it fully stocked with little glass jars and metal tins filled with fragrant spices from many different cultures: various Asian spices, spices for Indian curries, Mexican chili spices, Middle Eastern spices, European heritage spices, and spices for old-fashioned North American cooking. I now find that the spice racks that I put on top of my refrigerator are adequate as I use up my treasure trove of spices, and wind down my lifelong habit of cooking from scratch.
