Prices Are Up

My average electric bill just went up ten dollars, the price of my dietary staple which is eggs doubled, and a skimpy bag of chips which is mostly air is now priced far out of my affordability range. (Fortunately, I stopped snacking on those unhealthy chips years ago.) My rent went up one hundred dollars last year and my social security benefit only went up eighty dollars so that cancelled that out into a small, sharp deficit. Inflation pinches. Ouch. So what is it to me that some shelves in the grocery store are bare? I cannot afford much anyway.
