Releasing Emotions

While sitting zazen (in Zen Buddhist meditation practice) today, I realized that it is not enough for me to release the thoughts that flow over me, but also I want to release the bubbles of emotions that surge up with them. Those bubbles of emotions tend to cluster inside of me and are what bring back my unvaluable thoughts.
