Rippling Water

Now that I have belonged to several zoom groups for a while, I have noticed the various ways in which people appear in their Zoom boxes. Most seem to prefer a soft light, or even dim lighting. A bright, white light seems to suit me. Others were simply amused when Zoom turned them orange and red, which was a Halloween glitch that spontaneously resolved itself after the holiday. I did not like the joke, it made them look as if the zoomer was a little red devil in Hell.


Some sit close to the screen and their face occupies their entire Zoom box, kissing close as it were. Others lean back into a tiny, indistinct forms blending into their background, or slide down into their chairs leaving only the tops of their heads and a pair of eyes peering out. Are they hiding a smirk or worse? Some give a frank view of their living room or bedroom background, either tidy or as is, no one seems to care. Others set Zoom to blur their environment. I enjoy creating pretty colors, abstracts, or nature images for my Zoom backgrounds. Today I created:
