Wistfully

There's a new thing, saying: We're all gonna' be safe, and we're all gonna' have a good time. The corollary to that is: We'll have nothing and like it.

Well, ever since the COVID plan-demic I've been saying: Stay safe, stay happy. But wistfully, I doubted it. And now lovely Los Angeles, California is literally going up in flames due to pre-planned lack of resources and arson. Including the charming outdoor pet green parrots of Pasadena.

BTW: It is my understanding that three women with the surname of Crowley have had a hand in this nightmare, L.A. Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, another woman in charge of some aspect of water management, and a third woman who has hidden herself from the internet. However, even a quick online search reveals what their wicked namesake, charlatan Aleister Crowley was concocting at the beginning of the 20th century, e.g., "Aleister Crowley - The Great Beast 666", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zNTpey21Y0. Just saying.
